Del Norte Neighborhood Development Corporation

Del Norte Neighborhood Development Corp. is a nonprofit organization established in 1978 by a group of neighborhood activists, many of who were parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church to address the low-income area's severe housing needs and to create economic development opportunities. Del Norte has been true to its mission for 31 years.

Fifteen multifamily projects in North Denver have been developed with the effect of providing affordable housing and preserving the neighborhoods historic structures. Del Norte has a substantial portfolio of 23 individual properties. This portfolio is one of the main ways that Del Norte accomplishes its mission of creating housing opportunities for low income and special needs populations. Del Norte has an excellent financial management system in place producing timely and accurate financial statements. Del Norte's accounting team is knowledgeable and well-trained and has sustained itself for 31 years by minding the business aspects of its work as well as the service-orientation of its mission.
