The Next Door, Inc.'s mission is opening doors to new possibilities by strengthening children and families and improving communities. We envision a supportive community where all children and families are safe, healthy, and valued.
The Next Door is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 1971 to help children and families in the Columbia Gorge. We rely on state funding for a number of our programs. Other programs are funded through competitive grants from state and national organizations. But for some of our work, it is only with the help of donors like you that we can be flexible and creative in meeting the needs of our communities.
The Next Door is the one social service nonprofit in the Columbia Gorge able to bring together people, government funding, proven programs and donors to meet the essential needs of children and their families.
