National Train-the-Trainer to Support Latino and Immigrant Entrepreneurship
Over 50 leaders of community and economic development organizations learned of best-practice strategies for supporting small business and aspiring entrepreneurs. Practitioner-led sessions included culturally relevant approaches to basic technical assistance and training, integration of financial education and counseling, industry specific trainings, including food service, commercial kitchens and child care, physical facilities and marketplace strategies. Trainers included agency staff and other experts from throughout the US serving Latino entrepreneurs and microbusinesses.
