As NALCAB’s Controller, Valerie Galvan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting cycle and managing the accounting department. She works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and leadership team to ensure the organization maintains compliance with updated and accurate financial records. She’s also responsible for preparing the consolidated financials and federal financial reporting as needed.

Born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley, Valerie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley.
